From Alexander of Macedon
Your voice is the sweet sing of a meadowlark outside;
Your skin is soft like the softest Chinese silk;
Everything I do is with you in my thoughts;
I’ve liked you from the moment I first saw you
and now, I must let you know
I love you
I looked into your eyes
with a glance unworldly;
I touched your skin
softer then the best silk;
I kissed your sweet lips
sweeter then a bee’s honey,
and when our bodies melted,
I was in heaven
You’re like autumn when the wind blows through;
You're like winter with a voice softer than snow;
You're like spring by the way you make me feel reborn
You're like summer for you shine like the sun,
but mostly you're like the stars because I feel like I can
reach them when I see them twinkling in your eyes
These are my poems with the sharp edges of AoM. This is a tribute to him.
