why do i get new family members in towns that are not my capital ?
did they get mature only beside their fathers ? so why only in italy (playing as roman faction)

They appear in the same town as their father (or benefactor if adopted).
This is a welcome new feature from patch 1.2 that frankly makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, I prefer it like that, otherwise you get a ton of generals taking up unit space in your capital. Especially if your capital is the centre of your empire, what good is a general if he's 15 provinces away from your battlefronts?
