Simple edits possible ?

Just wondering does anyone know if its a simple edit to just change text files to change unit stats ?

Would like to just change unit costs and unit moral if possible.

Can it be done just by finding a text file in the save files on the computer and editing them

its either /Rome - Total War/data/descr_units.txt or /Rome - Total War/data/export_descr_units.txt

anyway this file has an entry for each unit, which basically defines it stats. The section at the top of the file pretty much explains how each entry is set up.
