To some of battles great historic importance is attributed (you can see corresponding signs on strategic map).
In such accasions the Romans arranged triumphs, erected arches and columns and made the victors nation-wide celebrities. I think, following should be worth attempting in case of historic victories:
- a personal trait of the character (family member, if any lead the fight) for winning of each historically important battle like giving some small bonus
- option of building of a monument ("small wonder" ) in a capital city, dedicated to the feat
- a 10% increase of loyalty, for, let's say 2 turns (triumph celebrations) through the country
- greater chance of appearance new family member out of some of the units which participated in the battle, because this where new famous commanders appear. If there was no family member, bu a captain in charge should not it be 100% that such a commander would become hero?
- similarly if the battle is lost in "historical way" (remember the guy who lost in teutoburg forest and augustus always keeping asking him "where are my legions"?) and the losing general managed to get away, a negative trait should be attributed, because the people throughout the country learn about the event
