    Hello all

Havent been here for such a long time...its great to still see so many

that time moves on,as does my life and commitments, many thanks to you
all, some of you became extremely close friends and we shared good and bad times both in game and on a personal level.
I thank you all....you know who you are

Very true Gaijin, nothing lasts forever. Still, the memories from STW will always eclipse any that have followed. A great game, a great crowd.......Nice to see you again, I can still remember our victorious stand on Totomi, probably the most enjoyable game I ever played.
    Stay well

    Hello, Shin-GaJin,

I am honoured to meet you. Some diehards here have mentioned you as the first one to hide a kensai gen in a no-dachi unit.

I guess I should thank you for this.

STW does still have some ocasionally players, but also there are some new players who I see a lot in the foyer of shambles fakeserver.

Hi Gaijin. *bows* I had wondered what happened to you, and am glad to see you around. Indeed, all things end, but it's fun to reminisce once in a while. Though there are only a handful of online Shogun players now, they are nice, fun people who enjoy the games and company, so we've been having some good times lately. Though I'm not able to play as often as I'd like, it's nice to have folks to play with when it can be managed.

Hope to see you sometime, if you ever find yourself with the time and inclination. It would be great to have some games with one of the most honorable of the Shogun elders. Take care my friend, and may life treat you well.

It's great to see some old faces here. As someone mentioned earlier we had an awe inspiring community that through the .org supported each other with little to no help from CA/EA.

I look forward to building a new system and getting fierce with some old as well as new warriors.

    Drisnos

Thanks for your work on this.

One item that needs to be addressed though.

Tenki was our clan name. I noticed you had us as Kenchi.

    Hi GaiJin,

    do you remember Itto Nakamura?
You were the first one I've met in the MP lobby and you have always been very kind and patient to me.
We had some fun games in Feb/ March 2004.
When I joined the communtiy it was already shattered.
Only some "diehards" like you, Heavysword, Kansuke,
    Mimesaka, AggonyDuck, AggonyBetou, ShinIguana etc.
were left. Although the playig level was high and demanding
you've all been very nice and forgiving to me.
I'd very much like to play you again or just have a nice chat in the lobby.
However, I just want to thank you again and wish you all the best
    for your future life.
    Good Luck, Have Fun!

    Itto

P.S.: Strangely, I get somehow sentimental on this.

R'as, I have that sometimes too, that I get sentimental when it comes to STW MP old days. I can't remember them, because I just play since shortly. I can't really say why is that, but it just happens, and I mostly don't mind afterwards.

Nice to hear your online name.

Thanks AdrianII! Great thread in monastery that is!

Well, these are Sengoku Jidai history links. There are very much of them, and I'll need to sort out which ones are will be suited for the site, but it's a start.

    *****

    More Links:

    STW SP:

    1) sword dojo
    2) shogun department of totalwar.com
    3) shogun department of totalwars.net
    4) shambles site, for the thech tree (?)
the clan forums don't have that much stuff on stw, so I don't think including them is necessary

Links to SJ mod and samurai mod forums. Plus some info on them, of course.

Some useful downloads, and stuff on stw modification:

link to the stw mod. forum.
link to equal forums at .com and .net
link to shambles thread, ' how to host shogun mp games'

    download v1.02
other stuff, but they're not as important as v1.02 download.

Old clans don't all have a website (anymore) and a look in the past seems hard, better to only include new clans website links.

    EDIT:

Links in my AdrianII quote aren't working, but you'll find them in the 'online history resources' thread.
