Often when the soup is too hot is is bad to stick your tongue in it.

so it is often wise to ignore the 'soup' and let it cool.......dont let anybody near the 'soup' why you wait for the heat to go away..

then when the heat is gone the 'tongue' can be reintroduced into the 'soup'..

make sure you throw out anybody who may try and put the soup back in the oven to reheat it.
