Seleucids because you can make both good cav and infantry armies with them (or the best balanced army in the game).
Oh yea and you can't run out of money with them (sometimes a problem because your generals start getting bad traits after 50,000$)

Really, I've noticed a bit of corruption in my 2,500,000 denarii game as Egyptians, (YES, THATS RIGHT 2.5 MILLION DENARII)
How did you manage that?
BTW a good way to manage your wealth is to wage wars on four fronts or so. Puts you in a bit of a pickle every now and then, but it definately slows down your money making.

It's 178 bc and I own the right half of the map, game burnt out unfortunately.
