Scythia, they have access to some quality mercs (Sarmatian, Thracians, Bastarnae) and they're a cav faction and I'm a cav commander.

Seleucids unit roster can't be beat.
They have something for every occasion (eventually). Usually I figure, that if I get my first phalanx pikemen without being overrun I'm going to win.
Nope - no sig what so ever.
Yeah, once you get out of the dark ages of HA assaulting from all sides you are fine.
The Seluecids are especially good because once you get to fighting the Romans you have access to your whole tech tree and enough provinces to build SS pikemen, SS legionaries, Cataphracts and Companions.

Bribe them, Kenshin, bribe!!! (not very honorable huh?)
I have 1.2..... No bribing for me.
Though in my recent campaign the romans have been bribing me like crazy. Too bad i don't get the money or I would be rolling in dough. Every turn they try to bribe either Capua, Arretium, Croton or Thermon.

So far 49 votes.![]()
I was impressed over how popular Brutii was when comparing to the other romans
TSE is the most popular faction and Germania second, that don`t seem to change no matter how many votes.
Nobody actually preffered Britannia, probably `cause of the lack of cavalry.

Well the Brutii have the nicest position of all the Romans as well as the best temples (Mars, Mercury), so that's probably not that surprising. I played them in my first campaign and they really kicked some ass!
