Anyway, I tested my theory that unit production is based more on income than stockpiles, and I have concluded that it is correct.
I changed the amount of money that the S.E. has, and the amount of money produced by the various regions of the S.E. I found that when they have a high production, regardless of stockpile levels, they tend to produce better quality units. In fact, I never saw a peasant at all.
Rather than altering the amount of money they have, alter the amount of money they produce, and you will see much better results.![]()
Yes, that is one way.
You can also change the resources available in a given region, thus increasing trade income.
Is there another way? I'd like to do some further testing.
That's true. I'll get back on whether it is total income, or one of either taxes or trade.Start them off with bigger towns maybe? After all, correct me if i'm wrong, but Bigger Towns = Bigger Income
How do you upgrade the towns, for example would it be great to let the seleucids start with huge cities..
I tried out this:
level huge_city
region Syria
year_founded 0
population 25000
settlement_tax 51
plan_set default_set
faction_creator macedon
building
{
type core_building royal_palace
}
What have I done wrong??![]()
