Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
I know Flanders,Venice and Antioch have a lot of potential trade income. There are probably some others too,but these are the ones I remember.
"Gold , Frankenstein and Grrr!"

Sweden, Khazar, Sicily, Lithuania, Antioch, Constantinople, Venice, Flanders for sea trade. Edessa and Armenia for land bound trade. Portugal and a couple of others (Tripoli, Khazar, or Egypt maybe?) get more trade goods as the game goes along. You should be able to find the information in the economics section of the MTW Guides Section.

It is not complete until the overwieght female vocalizes.

Brain : The same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world!

The value of the land depends on the value of the goods, which is as follows:
dyes 50, gems 50, spices 50
furs 40, glassware 40, honey 40, ivory 40, silk 40, sugar 40, wine 40
cotton 30, grain 30, hides 30, linen 30, olive oil 30, pottery 30, wool 30,
butter 20, fish 20, salt 20,wax 20, wood 20
I think it'd be interesting to invent your own goods. For instance: Rome, Malta, and Ile de France (Notre Dame) could all have Crosses or Religious Paraphernalia as a tradable good, or some of the Novgard lands could have Brides to trade.
Just a thought.

How do you trade over land? I thought you can only have local trade in land locked provinces.
land locked provinces are limited to trading with adjacent provinces. Coastal provinces can trade with any other province you can reach by ships - thus providing MUCH more income.

Where can I find the MTW Info Pak??? Cuz it sounds very interesting!!!!
Hey, good stuff with the brides in Novgorod :D ..... I would have added more trading goods like Chocolate in Switzerland, Grain in Wallachia(I'm from Romania, I know very well :D ) , Horses in Spain(Castille, Leon....), Beer in Germany(I'm currently adding this to my own mod :D....) and other great trading goods.....

Very good ideas except that they are completely anachronistic![]()
Why don't you add Saab cars to Sweden when you are at it?

I suppose I could add Oil to some of the African nations...

But then again, I'd probably just mod the game to make a 'Saab' unit. That might be kind of fun.... I could imagine a bunch of Saabs driving around the battle field, chasing down routers... And you could dismount them for a unit of 'Middleclass Businessmen'. Yes, I think that's an idea for my mod... in Swisserland on high you can build Saab Cavalry. Maybe in Germany I'll throw in some old Volks Wagens. And France could get the Peugeot... etc. etc.
And then I would have to make a new unit of diplomats... 'The Chaufer.' You could drop your other emissaries, princesses, spies, and assassins on them, and then they would move at 4x their normal movement rate.
And maybe even your assassins could get bonuses when using 'the chaufer'... for doing 'drive bys'!
