OK, guys, here's my first campaign in months:

Expert
start at 1530
to win: quoquer 40 regions, eliminate all enemy clans(exept R&R)

I take the Takeda clan.
They have Aki and Kai.
I start with:
1000 Koku
2 yari sam.
4 cav. archers
1 yari cav.
1 emissary

We had a good season, but still not much money.

There didn't happen much in this turn.
My emissary has arrived in Kozuke, Uesugi's HQ, I let him ask the lord for an alliance.
The hojo army is growing, I need more men too, I train 60 yari sam. in Kai.

That's about it, on to the next season.

The Uesugi lord has accepted my alliance, I send my emissary to Shinano to spy and see if I should attack it.
Hojo has trained men again and has a pretty large army now, he has become a real thread. I hope he get's in war with Uesugi, when he's weakened once, he can forget ever possessing sagami again.
The Imagawa lord asked me for an alliance, and I accepted it. It can never hurt to have friends, and I want to concentrate on Shinano and Sagami now.
I train 60 ashi's in Kai again, hehe, don't have money left after that.
I looked at the map when I was in the throneroom, I'm the only one who has conquered a region already, going well. :)

I dusted off my STW and started a campaign too.

My plan is to make an alliance with the uesugi and conquer Izu in the first few turns.
First, I set the taxes to 110%.
I start building a mine in Aki.
I train 60 sam. archers in Kai.

I want to keep things quiet in Aki until I got at least one fighting dojo there, so I don't attack the rebels.
In the east, I suspect Hojo is going to attack Uesugi in Musashi, so I don't need to worry about them. The rebels in Shinano and the Imagawa in Suruga don't have big armies, so I don't pay attention to them either. I decide to attack Izu, I go with my Daimyo, 120 cav. archers and 60 yari cav.

I outnumber them, it's 191 to 60.
Because of my cav. archers, I want to attack with good weather, but light rain was the best I could get.

I kept my Daimyo and yari cav. behind the archers, and sent the archers to the flanks. His 60 men appeared to be yari sam., an easy prey for my archers.
After several minutes of 'Hit and Run' tactiks, they have 30 men left and they are marching at the end of the map, on his side, so he doesn't have to flee very long. I know that when I win, the rest of his men die, because there is nowhere to go. (kai, suruga and sagami are possessed by clans) So I don't take great risks. At a certain moment, he charges in at one of my units of archers, so I let them retreat, but not too fast, so that they will keep chasing me. Meanwhile I braught in my yari cav., and I place them behind his unit. When he started the charge on my archers, I let my yari cav. attack. As soon as my cav. charged in at the yari's I let the archers also charge in. Being attacked from two sides and outnumbered, the enemy flees right away. In the heat of the fight 5 of his men escape, but not his general, who's killed.

I won it: 0 losses 55 kills.

Because I just conquered Izu, I set the tax back to 100%.
I don't have much money, so I only train 60 ashis in Kai.
I retreat most of my troops to Kai, because Kai is more important and Hojo hasn't attcked Uesugi.
