Please help!!!! Sound but noooo game

Hello all, any help would be great as Iam desperate to play this mod, it sound great!!!
I have tried to follow all the steps but I fear have failed somewhere along the line. When I open the game I can hear screaming animals (I think) and all is fine but when I enter Imperial Campaign to start the game there is nothing new there, just all the same old Rome..
I have:
1. Install clean version of RTW
2. Download and install patch 1.3 http://www.totalwar.com/community/download.htm
3. Download and install patch 1.5 http://www.totalwar.com/community/download.htm
4. Download Vercingetorix's PAK extractor tool. http://www.twcenter.net/downloads/db/?act=mod&id=43
5. Copy the contents of the unpaker into Data/packs in your clean version of RTW 1.5.
6. Run the .bat file and let run completely. this may take a while. After its done you'll see a new data folder in the packs directory.

Now this is where I feel I might be going wrong.. I cut the new data folder that appears after I run the .dat file in the packs directory and paste it here. C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War
I then rename all the pack files as asked.
The I download the Blue Lotus file unzip it to my desktop and copy the data file to C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War as well..
should these new data files be in C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\data or C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\data\data ???
Then download the music file and then and copy the data file to C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War as well. Ive tried every combination but fear Im doing 1 thing wrong (or many) and am getting nowhere after 5 reinstalls... Please help., an IDIOTS guide through the data locations would really help, Im sooooo lost im scared..

Well when I isntalled the mod I heard screaming elephants as well... but I never even get to the menu, it just goes black. I tried at least six times to install the mod, each time on a perfectly clean RTW and following all the instructions to the letter, but that's as far as I ever got.

I gave up on playing the mod a long time ago, but I'm sure there must be some solution.

each time you copy the data files they should overwrite the existing data file C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\data . You shouldn't end up with more than one data folder.

Thankyou for your reply, just a simple mistake and now its all fine.. And can I say... I LOOOOVE IT,, what a great mod. Thankyou thankyou... Iam having multiple CTD probs but still well worth it,, Thanks again..
