Default How do I edit buildings?

How do I edit buildings? For instance, I'm rather sick of my distant cities rebelling, so I'd like to make all government buildings grant 100+, for all cultures (so that it is balanced with the other factions). How would I go about doing this?

    Anyone?

Jut a simple explanation of which file I use would be nice. I can figure the rest out from there.

Oops, I meant 100+ health benefits, to counter squalor and distance to capital.

Go to export_descr_buildings.txt (data folder) and look up core_buildings - they are the first ones listed.

Then add the "population_health_bonus bonus 5" capability to them (check out the other types of buildings to see the correct format for inserting capabilities).

I've used "bonus 5" above because that works (and is the R:TW maximum), you can try 6 or more but I've not tested that and it may cause problems later on.

You can make the capability faction-specific by using "faction_capability" (this is used for barbarian bodyguard upgrades in some of the core buildings).

I'm sure there are some tweak mods out there that will accomplish this for you - but there's my 2 cents.

    Hope this helps

Thank you. Would that be just a +5, however? Is that because it is a health bonus, or because it's the maximum for any benefit? For instance, would a bonus to law be able to go higher than 5?
