    Question unified rome


    i have posted this on several other forums and have continuously come up with no results

    can someone help me in this:
    julii faction have brutii and scipii cities, no matter what i do it always seems to bug up....

    Are you playing Rome: Total Realism? That makes a unified Rome. Otherwise, have you screwed around with modding? I burnt out my first installation like that.

    Hmm...First of all, I reccomend that you download Rome: Total Realism, version 5.4, I think. It vastly improves the gameplay.

    Secondly, go into your C:/Program Files/Activision/Rome: Total War/Data/Maps/Imperial Campaign/Descr_strat.txt file, and scroll around until you find the section telling you which provinces are owned by who. If you can, copy the Scippi, Brutii, and Julii sections and post them here.

    If you can't do that, upload the file somewhere, and I'll download it to see if I can find a problem.

    HA! Right. I played a battle in Rome: Total Realism, and I was able to march my troops around the enemy formation, and surround them, without them countering in any way.

    RTR is boring and well over rated.... but i am probably still gonna D-load 6.0 they might actually have done something good for a change....

    anyway i gave up trying to make a unified rome now although if anyone can send me a working (i have had many which don't work) version of descr_strat with the julii having the brutii and scipii cities then i would be most grateful....
