    Default Consecutive zero casualities record?

Gaining victory with zero or few casualities states the ultimate policy don´t you think? Therfore I tend to go with artillery/ misssile oriented combos like 4 onagers, 4-6 archers, 2-4 heavy cav and 6-10 phalanx pikemen This is my record as the Macedonians against Romans:
    727-0, 572-0, 190-0, 1405-0, 307-0, 945-0, 446-0, 339-0, 2045-0, 950-0, 464-0 = 8390-0, 11 consecutive defensive battles (which helped ;)). Any contenders?

I seldom get exactly 0 own casualties, but most battles end with around 10-40 casualties, with few exceptions. When I'm fighting enemy phalanxes I usually get very low casualties because they're so easy to split up and surround. Then most of my casualties are actually friendly fire because I'm too lazy to micromanage missile fire targets...

BTW PseRamesses, the link in your signature didn't work for me... In any case, if you're working on a viking related mod then maybe you'd like to work with my mod (see link in my signature). It's from 843 AD to 1099 AD with map covering all of Europe, but the focus is on the vikings.

In my Sarmatian campaign I think I can safely say that if the enemy didn't bring any archers along, the only casualties I ever took were from friendly fire.

I'd just take an all horse archer army, either outflank them or attack from lots of directions at once on the campaign map. Those poor, poor germans/dacians/thracians/insert hapless AI opponnent here/parthians never stood a chance.

What difficulty level and map (bridge for instance)?

Sorry about that, it should though. Take a look at MTW´s forum Engineers Guild and look for a mod by the name Fury of the Northmen. We have been working on a viking mod to MTW for 1 1/2 year but since RTW came out everyone seems to have lost interest. I can´t finnish it myself since I´m basically a historian and not a hard-core modder/ skinner etc.
Now the FotN contains some 20 pages of very useful info for your mod (yes, I´ve checked your thread ). Feel free to use or copy any info but be shure to give the proper credits and ask permission to the creator. Basic history stuff is just up for crabs - have fun!
If I can be of any assistance when it comes to history, resources, maps, settlements, kingslists, names, heroes etc just feel free to mail me at any time at pse@brevet.se As for participating in any mod I feel I burnt out on FotN but you could always keep me around as a muse. Good luck with your mod, I´m looking forward to play it in the furture.

    Dyrrhachium to Aquileia.
Could you say that in a simple format even an idiot like me would understand?

I have an armored elephant army.

I dunno how many battles I fought with it, but before I had that army the Brutii and I were equal in military power on the graph. After that army fought with them for a couple years, they're out of the top five. At least over 20 battles.

Not a single casualty, friendly or otherwise. All elephants are at 2-3 gold chevrons now. General started with 2 stars, now has ten.

Playing on hard/hard by the way.

RomeTotalRealism is a mod, and a very good one too. It contains more provinces so if you play the vanilla RTW I stated that I was moving my army up from the area of Appolonia towards Patavium when theese sequence of battles occured.

Jeees! Wouldn´t wanna face that combo on the field. I seriously must try this sometime. I´ve roleplayed Carthage as Hannibal many times and marched from Iberia over the alps but not with a pure ele-army.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

No I didn´t create it, it hasn´t even been created....yet! Originally Norseman had a idea about a true viking mod for the MTW engine. We hooked up and started forming a concept. Later some 15 persons were involved off and on with the project. If I should describe my function in any term it would be more of an administrator.
