When I was playing the scots in VI, in this battle (I forgot cuz it was way too long ago) I was facing the saxons. I only had like less than 500 highlanders and a really small amount of cavalry units against thousands and thousands of saxon army with alot of huscarles and all those elite units. It was on a very hilly terrain and I placed my 100 archers up on the front and fired on the coming saxons until they came close enough that I sent divisions of highlanders one by one. They continued to come on and on and on with reinforcement, until it was too much so I back up on a hill on the other side of the map. By this time the kill ratio scale indicated almost all green. I relized I had some reserve cavalry as reinforceemtn and brought them in. But the saxons kept coming and coming and coming, and I was surprised how much morale my troops had because they were reduced to a really small band of units with fighting the saxons everylast one of them . It ws truly amazing, and I regret not taking pictures of it. The whole map was covered with red units (saxon color) and few blues on some spot.
