    Post Challenges

    There have been a few threads discussing how to make the game harder, longer etc, so here is my suggestion. We have a fantastic resource of MTW players who probably enjoy the same things about the game as us so lets use that and suggest challenges for each other. Then people can give feedback on which are most challenging / fun.

    The challenges could use restricting certain units, self imposed rules etc etc

    Heres one to get the ball rolling -
    Italians, expert, early
    Rules - no building any ships at all!
    Challenge - win (60%) before the start of high.

    Comments and further challenges greatly appreciated!

    I'd rather have a challange where I can use all the finesse and tons of money AND still IS a challenge...
    This space is for sale. Anybody wanting to advertise little blue pills, pumping body parts or financial services that cost you a fortune may do it here for a small fee instead of packing my mailbox. Thank you.

    Up trade income to the ports to 120% instead of 20%. The comp will earn more money than you on your trade-network.
    We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

    This was really aimed at specific challenges which are possible without modding the game.

    Fair, but that is a mod that you can make in 5 min, using wordpad.

    What about only being allowed to use UM, archers, spearmen and the (former) hiers royal knights.

    To spice it up a little, troops gotten by crusades and jihads are allowed.

    Wouldn't it be boring? The battles would be rather repetitive... I mean you could also play ALL battles with autocalc now that would make it more difficult but not too much fun either...

    Now to be a little more constuctive: what about only using fleets to protect your coastline and have ships for trading only one step (=sea territory) more?

    Or you could just play the Germans and attack everybody that borders you the time you get a common border (this resembles to the ALLWAR scenario of civ3)
