Another theory is that a virus scanner might be accidentally picking up legitimate files and identifying them as viruses. I spoke to someone in the EA lobby who said they were finding the 'Kak' worm in their log files. The 'Kak' worm is a JavaScript-based virus, hence can be included in text files. It needs the file it is contained in to have a certain file extension (.HTA I think) to work at all.
What may be happening is this: Something naturally produced in the log files appears similar to a virus, triggering the virus scanner. This is a big problem because so many viruses these days are text-based, and virus scanners have a very hard time distinguishing between real viruses and innocent files.
I still reckon it's nothing to worry about, a minor inconvenience at most. If it causes people big problems, raise it with Richie (The Shogun), either in a thread here or e-mail him directly.
