A Simple Statement
Signing The Code is a pledge to be a considerate and respectful player.
It is not a claim to any status, nor is it accountable to any regulation, or authority.
Signing is a personal commitment made by each individual to do their best to behave in a decent and respectable manner.
This self accepted responsibility has been deemed to be worthy of recognition, so a little patch is added under their name to both celebrate, and remind them of their decision.
This patch, although using the same method of the Org Award system, is not listed as an Icon Badge of that system.
It is simply an acknowledgement of espoused intention, that will also hopefully encourage others to consider making the same commitment.
