I was just watching the first Blackadder series, which I found a bit stupid. I find the later series better: I prefer Blackadder being clever, sarcastic and not just a Mr. Bean in tights. I was wondering what the people here thought about.

"You can't be a successful Dictator and design women's underclothing. One or the other. Not both." The Right Hon. Bertram Wilberforce Wooster
"Man, being reasonable, must get drunk; the best of life is but intoxication" - Lord Byron
"Where men are forbidden to honour a king they honour millionaires, athletes, or film-stars instead: even famous prostitutes or gangsters. For spiritual nature, like bodily nature, will be served; deny it food and it will gobble poison." - C. S. Lewis
I've only seen what I believe to be the first, and not in its entirety. It wasn't bad, though. I was quite surprised that they could get away with such blatantly racist humour.
Thats a very hard question
Its easier for me to say that I dislike the third series most so that will have to be classed as number 4.
Blackadder 2 would then come next
And I like equally 1 and 4.
Have you seen the Christmas Carol one off episode, well worth a laugh.
