I was just watching the first Blackadder series, which I found a bit stupid. I find the later series better: I prefer Blackadder being clever, sarcastic and not just a Mr. Bean in tights. I was wondering what the people here thought about.

I've only seen what I believe to be the first, and not in its entirety. It wasn't bad, though. I was quite surprised that they could get away with such blatantly racist humour.

The fourth is quite good. I voted for that. I nearly voted for the third, as i watched it yesterday, and was highly amused.

Its easier for me to say that I dislike the third series most so that will have to be classed as number 4.
Blackadder 2 would then come next
And I like equally 1 and 4.
Have you seen the Christmas Carol one off episode, well worth a laugh.

The only sort of abuse i saw in Blackadder was animal abuse. After all, i'm sure Baldrick counts as an animal, right?
