I was just watching the first Blackadder series, which I found a bit stupid. I find the later series better: I prefer Blackadder being clever, sarcastic and not just a Mr. Bean in tights. I was wondering what the people here thought about.

I've only seen what I believe to be the first, and not in its entirety. It wasn't bad, though. I was quite surprised that they could get away with such blatantly racist humour.
Thats a very hard question
Its easier for me to say that I dislike the third series most so that will have to be classed as number 4.
Blackadder 2 would then come next
And I like equally 1 and 4.
Have you seen the Christmas Carol one off episode, well worth a laugh.

Tough question. All four series are very quotable, and I have watched every episode at least three times over the years. I like the medieval setting best, but dislike the stupidity that the first series contained. I did love Edmund's little wife though. I am very fond of the extra sarcastic Blackadder in the final two series, but didn't like the WWI setting. Series 2 had the best balance between witty humour, setting, and supporting characters. Queenie was brilliant, once you got over the shock of seeing one of our more famous monarchs as a giggling moron. Series 3 is very close, but the idiot prince regent is more irritiating than funny.
Frogbeastegg's Guide to Total War: Shogun II. Please note that the guide is not up-to-date for the latest patch.
The only series, Ive watched all episodes of is Blackadder goes Forth, so I voted that one. Although I liked the other Blackadders too like the Napoleonic-era, which I think is 3.

I like Blackadder the Third the best simply because of one episode.

Pure brilliance!
2 was the one with the queen ? i hope so because i voted 2...

It's gotta be Blackadder Goes Forth.
2 and 4 are the best ones. I voted 4 and the only reason it edges out 2 is because it more funny episodes.

it´s hard to pick.........the first season lags behind the others....all 3 others are comic briliance through and through...one of my favourites of all times....
i voted for goes forth because of the amazing ending for what is a comedic show.....but the third is amazing just because of the elections episoded
i´ve also watched all of the stand alone shows....of those...the christmas carol is the best.....

Also, as I remember it, the first season had a more absurdist edge to it.
