In case there are free seats, I definitely apply!

I may not be a frequent writer, but surely a frequent spectator. And now there is something to contribute to at least!
One more thing: I participated in testing strategy before.

I've been following the progress of this mod closely-even though I haven't been an especially frequent poster-and I would be honoured to help you test it if you have a place for me.

i have no modding experience and have only fundamental knowledge of ancient western warfare (just enough to execute "hammer and anvil" on TW series).

however, i would have to kick myself in the balls if i hadn't try to volunteer for this great project that might bring justice to RTW and the TW series.

i've just finished my finals and no live whatsoever, so i have plenty of time and enthusiasm.

    cheers

oh why not..I like to sign up as well, I'll have lots of time around late June and then I ahve lots of time for two months, I watched the history channel a lot, so I know some historical stuff as there are tons of it, so you can never say you know a lot. I've been checking for mods ever since I got bored of vanilla RTW, and this is the one that I like thus far.

I have been following this most excellent mod for over a year, and I have been constantly amazed at the incredible research, and now modding, that the EB team has done.

I would be honored to be part of the closed beta team. I have a lot of experience with the MTW:VI and the many fine mods made for that game (including H:TW, N:TW, ME:TW, BKB's MTW, WesMod, S:TW, Fall of Rome, etc., going all the way back to King David's Rome mod.) and the mods for R:TW, along with mods for other games to which I have contributed ideas and suggestions. I have played MTW:VI multiplayer often enough over the years to become good at it and familar with the balance needed for units and factions.

I independently tested the ME:TW unit balance and provided feedback to the mod team after they released the mod in February. I would be able to play the EB mod and give valuable feedback on whatever part you wanted, due to my extensive experience with modded games.

I have plenty of time, due to the fact that AP tests are now over along with any homework for those courses. Finally, I have a computer that is relatively old and could make you aware of any features you added that placed a burden on older computers.

Thank you for your time in considering me.

    Finally, and this is important:

DO NOT PM ME WITH YOUR REQUEST. It will not earn you any points, it will not put you above the rest. It will merely piss me off because I have the same PM limit here at the .org as everyone else, which means I have to keep cleaning out my inbox since everyone and his brother thinks he can get the jump on the others by PMing me. From now on if you send me a PM that is only to request to join our beta testing group when a thread exists exclusively for this purpose (YOU ARE READING IT NOW), you will be automatically EXcluded from joining the beta group.

    Choose wisely.
I am very sorry khelvan, I did not intend to send the PM to put me above the rest or anything. I did it because of the MBs question as I wasn't sure about putting it here. I just decided to put the request in. Again I am very sorry about this and I understand about excluding me.

Hi, i'm a fan of RTW and have been following the EB boards closely, and accounted a classical history scholar in school circles, so I would really like to join in this beta test. I will have lots of time over the next month or so, maybe two, after a brief interruption called exams.

Relax, honest mistakes happen. I just wanted to get people's attention, because my inbox filled up immediately, and I could not get PM's about actually making the mod...

Ah ok, it just startled me as that post sounded quite harsh and seemed totally directed at me. Glad thats all cleared up.

I guess I'll put in my request to join in here now.

I would love to participate in the closed testing. I have pretty much 12 hours almost everyday that I can put time into testing your mod and giving you all the feedback, bug hunting, etc. to your heart's desire. I've been following your guy's progress since you first acquired your own forum here dedicated to EB and even joined your germanics research team for a couple days. (I know a couple days is nothing special.) (Aymar may remember that )

BTW. I am very happy about the low file size I'll be able to D/L that wonderfully.

I signed up on the TWC forum (as Neurotransmitter), but something odd seems to have happened to that forum, and i wanted to make sure my continuing interest in participation in the closed beta is still on record somewhere.

I have intimate knowledge of the text files, have been editing music, sounds, units, etc. on my own since release, and will be accurate, consistent, and unbiased. Let me know if i can help out in any capacity.

I sign up, mostly because I have a lot of free time, and honestly, because I think it would help me developing my own mod (not to steal some of your skins, but to understand the whole RTW files system).

I would like to help, I have plenty of time to test the beta version, so, if you want fast feedback and/or help on the historical part of the game, keep me tuned. My area of interest is the italian - roman, illirian and magno - greek kingdoms.

Unhappy Re: Signup for closed testing group

Hello everyone, i signed up over at TWcenter, but someone seems to have sabotaged the forums over there and deleted all the posts in the RTR, EB and SPQR forums, including the beta sign-up post.

If there are still positions available i would like to be considered, as i said earlier i would do whatever is necessary to make EB the mod it can and should be.

    I hope i can help,

    cel

    I'm interested.

I've got loads of free-time (on summer break and a low-maintenance job), a ton of indepth books on Roma and the ancient world on my shelf, a fair depth in Latin, and I've been watching this mod grow since it was in the Main Hall.

    Hi,
I have been following this mod since start, and really like the way it developes. I just registered, because I had nothing to say till now . I tried out a few RTW mods before, so I have some experience, and I have time to help you. I'm glad to help if you need a tester.

Sorry guys, for now signups are closed. We have contacted a few of you by PM and invited you to join, and there may be more opportunity later, but we'll pick off the current list if so. However, there is hope, even if you're not in the closed beta, as the open one will be ready soon (we hope).
