OK i played both Shogun and Medieval and simplly adored(sp) it.....got Rome a few months ago but didn't find time to start a good campaign.

Want to start a game today or tommorow but first I want help from you guys.

I want an advice on what to instal first.I see that there is an official patch but has few bad critics here....and there is an Total realism patch (if i am not wrong).

So can you please advice me on what to instal before the first game....or should i play it just out of the box?????

erm, well RTR is a mod of Rome, its harder than Rome Total War so start their first, get the new patch.

Then after a while, move to RTR
The Vandal Horde RTW Clan looking for new members!

DL patch v1.2 it will significantly enhance RTW. RTR is a mod so you might want to play through the vanilla prologue- and imperial-campaigns a coupleof times to getto know this game before starting on a mod. SPQR is another very good mod. RTR v6.0 is just around the corner and you might want to check out the EB-mod too, looks epic to me. Good luck!
