how come every time i try to load a big empire my computer goes back to my desktop please help!!!!!

Your savegame file may be corrupted. It's happened to me on a number of occasions. Try reloading from your autosave and see if that works. You'll lose some time, but hopefully nothing too crucial.

i have tried that it doesn't seem to work but i could try agian but what if it don't work

Did your comp crash before it?
If so , than your saves may be out of use.

That does not sound good at all. If your autosave file won't load, it's beyond my (very limited) expertise. What about other, older savegame files? Will anything load? A computer virus, perhaps? You may be in a position where you are forced to go in and delete all your savegame files manually and start over.
