now i'm here, and history is vindicated.
I'm skeptical, right now. Although, I do not understand how it being a rumor would strengthen the insurgency's cause.
The Prophets hands were once broken, says Der Spiegel's correspondent Yassin Musharbash writing about the message, and this might be a propaganda trick to suggest that Zarqawi is running the highest risks and turn him into even more of a 'hero' in the eyes of followers. It seems there have been British reports about him being injured earlier in May, but I haven't seen any of those. And Zarqawi could be sitting high and dry in some other country for all I know.Originally Posted by Kanamori

I saw the reports earlier this month about him being injured.
Let me know when he's dead or captured. This in itself is pretty meaningless.

I agree that he could actually gain a lot from getting 'killed', while sitting somewhere safe.
He would become a martyr to the cause, the coalition would become a little satisfied, and not search for him directly, and best of all he would still be able to direct the attacks.
Give me a body before I believe anything.

He must have grew it back.Originally Posted by Tribesman
