What next, favourite mass murderer? The first poll was stupid, expanding on it to try and prove a point just shows your lack of maturity.

Not sure. I like Stalin, love his methods(I'm such a bad person, wouldn't you agree?), but Denzou Ping would be good too. Set China on the road to superpowerdom(but was a very bad Red in doing so). Of course, Tamurlane would also be up there, all that slaughter.

In a tie between Saddam, Hitler and Kim Jong-Il, I think I'll go with Kim Jong-Il. He's performed concerts in Korea, you know. In an Elvis suit.

what's up with you people saying "i hope not" next to certain names? (this poll and the one by BP)

most, if not all of these people are deplorable by modern standards
yet you have run a poll on them and which one is "best"

and have the gall to tell others that their choice might not be a good one?
    what the...

    anyway, i chose hitler
his guys had the coolest uniforms and were so badass that people still consider them demons

nonetheless, i would prefer to be ruled by a big furry stuffed animal

GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

Castro, the man had ideals, and as far as communist regimes go, his seems better than what Stalin, Mao, Kim Jong II did/is doing. Cuba would probably be a first world country if it wasn't for the trade embargo.

Mussolini. I love this quote: 'The socialists ask me what my program is, I'll tell you what my program is, my program is to bash the skulls of socialists'.

    What next, favourite mass murderer?

Favorite massmurderer! King Leopold the second of Belgium of course, he is the only person I could really describe as evil.

A quote from an article about him

"The only difference between Leopold and Hitler was that Leopold didn't plan on killing all those people"

Reminds me of 'the discovery of heaven' (a book) where the two main characters are wondering which is worse, the tyranny of reason (Stalin) or the tyranny of 'insanity' (Hitler, but it applies much better Leo).

That book is from Harry Mullish, I didn't know it was translated to english. Great book that is. Mr Mullish may be the most arrogant brat that ever lived, but he sure can write.

Or in the case of these two polls - which is your favorite.

Bad humor - honoring people who committed mass murder or genocide during their tenur as leaders of nations.
O well, seems like 'some' people decide to ruin a perfectly valid threat. Nice going guys... doc bean
