Even more of a priority would be to give "barbarians" oppidum-like walls.

Well, yes. Though there are various types of "Barbarian" walls, the Oppidum was very a typical of Gallic tribes and Belgae. Also not all Oppidums were built in the same fashion, but they looked something like this...

    ...a maquette of a gate...

...and the Peninsular (as in, Iberian) version, the castro...

Oh, and btw, I agree. Those large walls, and especialy the epic, look like something out of Lord of The Rings, which is not a necessarily a bad thing, if you are in that sort of universe.

The large stone walls aren't that bad are they

I mean they look ridiculous but isn't that more because the citys are so small

There should be at least two types of stone walls. Not all defences of walled cities were equal or of equal height. Perhaps further upgrades could just increase the number and quality of towers.

i would say of just the tower defenses. keep it all simple, i think it would be a lot more work to increase the amount of towers.

that sounds good. they should improve denfences, the time between oil drops (at the gates) and structural strength (HP) of the walls/towers but NOT hight (not by that much anyway, at most by 2m i'm guessing)

Don't remind me that sh1t. The only epic things there were the walls, Pitt's acrobatics and Hellena.

But I don't get why they had to clean their arse with Homer.
