Is it be possible to change the
strategic map in the game ?
I mean, not the properties of the map
but only colors and all graphical aspects.
That would be fun to play on a map with visible mountains, name of provincies in japanese kanjis written on each province... no?
Just an idea, nothing more.

I like the idea, I just didn't want to say anything until I had figured it out! Unfortunately, no time recently. I'm hoping to give a crack at it this weekend. I've found the graphic itself, not in the program, and have tweaked it a bit, now I need to figure out if I can plant it in anywhere. I just have been working on trying to get a Life. Silly me. ;>

Legendary_Ninja-san has, in an other post, suggested a technic for finding *.bif files by pressing the F3 key...
I think the map is a *.bif file.
