Differences after installing patch

I had several starting positions for each clan saved, all at expert level, before installing patch v1.12
After that, when I reload any of them I note something strange: enemies are not much agressive, some battles are unusually easy to win, etc. It's like to play at easy level.
Has anyone had the same experience? Is it normal? Actually I am playing and saving starting positions again because I'm afraid the old ones are spoiled, probably due to the patch. What do you think?

The patch did definitely introduce a great number of AI changes. It wasn't supposed to make things easier, per se, but some situations certainly turned out that way! I've had teh opposing daimyo's less aggressive, but the ronin became more aggresive. Likewise, I didn't have the battles themselves get any easier. Did you try starting a campaign from scratch? Try a new campaign as the same clan and see if it's different. Not harder, just some tweaked details. You might have just been at a point where you could whip their butts anyway!
