Ahh, a quick introduction. I'm Uriel, 25 years old and work for a consulting engineer in England. I've been lurking here for a while without joining and it seems to be one of the more friendly Total War communities going.

Also a big thank you to those who've spent so much time producing various guides and investigations. They've been very helpful for someone who came to R:TW looking for something different from the usual shooters and RPGs etc.

Referrals - When someone joins the site, they can put down the username of whoever referred them. Obviously, this onlt works if you found this site from a friend, not through Google. You would also need to know your friend's user.

Just a quick hello to everyone. I've been playing RTW since it was released, and been checking this forum for tips/stories but never got round to joining, but no more of a voyeur i be.

Just downloaded the Rome realism thang and playing my first campaign as the Romans. It is definitely worth a bash and has rejuvenated my love of this game - bit like your girlfriend/wife buying a new bedroom outfit, now wouldn't that be a thing the boffins should get busy on - upgrade/patches for your partners! Knowing my luck though they wouldn't bother waiting to download my patch and just dump me in the recycle bin.

Anyway i will try to be more constructive in my future posts.

Hi All I am a long time listener, first time caller.

I have read the enormous volume of posts here, such as they are.
Only kidding, I have gained a lot of knowledge from these intelligent posts, what there is of them. I'm only serious.

My only gripe (that I haven't seen posted before) is that assassins do not track some victims. If I send an assasin after a spy, and the spy moves, my turn ends, then the assasin has movement points left and moves, he still go through the "assasinate" motions, even though the spy has moved to the next square! The assasin should either track the spy or let me know he has lost the trail.
