Good work! Well, the only thing I did not like is that the ambassador lacks any vices... There are no perfect people. If he is a main character, you can slowly reveal his v&v and depending on your intentions make him sympathetic, repulsive or something in the middle. Of course, this is my opinion because I tend to bury deep inside my character's mind and background. If he is not, then I want to see how you build your main characters.
