A video by some Swedish game reporters on M&B!
    http://www.tv7games.se/ValtSpel.aspx?clipId=245

The narration is Swedish, but doesn't really have anything new, except for saying at the end that they plan to have some sort of multiplayer in the next version of M&B. Armagan and Ipek talk in English, so no translation necessary there.

Don't get too comfortable, rumour has it the next bug-fix version is due shortly. Apparently .953 has the return of some awful memory leaks.

Just when I was starting out my character today, I think I'm on day seven or ten.

You know you don't have to get every single version unless the memory leaks directly affect you...

Personally I'm not upgrading until version 1.0 comes out.

Oh dear God. I downloaded the demo, and ended up playing this game 8 hours straight until 5 in the morning. I'm gonna have to get the full version of this pretty soon.

Buy now! If I recall correctly, the price goes up with every version untill it reaches the fixed price with the release of 1.0.

Does anybody have a good soundtrack (music pack) for M&B. I've been looking and asking on the talesworld forum but it hasn't resulted in much. I've found one music pack but I can't download it because either I can't distinguish symbols with small cats in them from sybomls with dogs in them or the website has a problem with numbers typed on a laptop.

    Thanks.

P.S. Makaikhaan, just get the game now. It'll be cheaper and you won't have to wait. The key will still work for the full release.

I suspected as much - I was suffering noticeable lag in battle last night... nothing too strange in that given my hardware, but on Day 1, soloing 7 looters????

Admittedly, I'd started up the game before going out for a while, so it had idled a few hours, plenty of time for memory leakage to hit the fan... Don't think I'll get too attached to this character, 954 can't be far away...

Check the Mount and Blade Repository. Many alternate soundpacks there. Most of them are remixed version of TW music, pretty good. I recommend this one.

New version 0.954 out but lots of bugs and script errors apparently. Probably not worth the upgrade.

I patched up to .955 and it was save game compatible I think as long as you have any of the .95X, your save games should be safe.

I managed to continue my 953 campaign in 955. So far so good, no crashes yet (though I'm still f12-ing before every battle, just in case ) However, I've had to turn down my battle-sizer, as the FPS rate is drooping badly now. You just cannot do horse archery at 10FPS...

It's influenced heavily by Kingdom of Heaven, you even hear a bit of one of the actor's dialogue when you fight the Crusade Bandits. ..... Quite good though I must agree. Specially the presence of repectable amount of cavalry in the enemy army makes it more challenging. But I do miss the two handed blades.
Btw, where exactly do the Jihads start?

.955 is impressive, there are a few bugs though, notably broken quests, etc. Good fun.

More importantly, though, is for everyone to get themselves over to the Golden Joystick Awards and vote for M&B in the best PC game and Ultimate game categories.
