My favorite Welsh tactic late in the game is to bribe jutland and build up to Bandits and hit the Hordaland heir stack with a stack of bandits and archers. So much fun to kill off the vikings in their own lands.

Assassins, spies, priests, emissaries and revolts in the viking homelands are your friends.
