heavy cavlary is way to fast. esspecially when they're routing. my light cavalry could'n catch up with a barb noble cav over a full field distance. how can we allow this without pumping our fist.

I get the same problem.
Also, my heavy cavilry gets less tired than my light cavilry. The game is completely warped!

It`s not stupid if the heavy cav unit have the ability "good stamina", and the light only "fast moving".
These abilities counterbalance each other.

But they shouldn't have that good stamina. The result is that heavy cav can hunt down missile cav often more effectively than light cav which is bull and detracts from the usefulness of light cav.
yeah. also the good stamina applies to the men on the horse no to the horse (atleast it should) cuz i they're tired they fight less effective. so that's not the point

Well, alot of these problems seem easily modable. Just put in whatever attribute that makes cataphracts slow (can't think of it on the top of my head) to all heavy cavalry, and lower their stanima, and poof, realy heavy cavalry.
nope sorry the stamina is modable, but it appleys to the rider not the horse. so that's not the problem. for sofar i know, in 1.2 cav speed is hardcored. but you can make them faster by changing their FS style. but you can't make them slower
