    Default Starship Troopers FPS

I haven't heard much about this, but it looks pretty darn good for a different type of FPS. Check the trailers out--they look like scenes right out of the first movie.

They claim over 300 bugs on the screen at once--each with its own A.I.

Actually I'm not too impressed... The scenery and men looks all too bland. And the bugs are neither scary nor very tough to kill. Look at the number of shots the tank-bug takes before the nosedive. Hopefully that will be corrected.

I saw this in a PC gamer issue a long time ago. Back then the progress report was "50% completed", which was back in 04. Back then I was impressed at how good it looked for how done it was. Yet Here we are in 05 and the game looks almost exactly the same.

I'm not impressed with the graphics. and in the Post Half-life 2/doom 3/Farcry FPS market, i doubt many will be.

Guys, don't get too caught up in a pretty face, nor rush to judgement on a game that is still in development.

Not every game is going to live up to Doom/Halflife 2/Far Cry graphics levels- plus there are a ton of people out there that don't have the high end rigs needed to play those games in the first place

If the A.I., action, storyline and game play are good--plus it gets a few good reviews, it will be on my shopping list for sure.
