14 is plenty old enough to drink. The younger you start, the sooner you become accustomed to drinking and so the more alcohol tolerant you are when you are older.

Yes I do like history, although it took me quite a few years to come back to my love of it. STW can be thanked for my new found love of history (or it was new found a few years back). The reason I stopped reading so much was mainly down to spending all my free time with my friends, and a fairly large chunk of that time was spent drinking, and I just basically withdrew myself from things like that. Even so, I don't regret much out of all that time, but I am now spending more time on serious issues, even if most of my posts don't reflect that. Oh and I still love to drink, and within the next hour be settling down to a nice steak, and a bottle of wine.
