my apologies, i didnt really answer your original question. the current editor is embedded within the demo game. and i'm not kidding; it is embedded. also, the demo game isnt called the demo game; it's called the battle trainer and is available on the totalwar.com site as a 95 meg download. if you can get by that step then go read all the notes ;)

i also know that tosainu trimmed the demo from 95 megs to about 35 megs but not sure if he ever posted it anywhere....or if he will, since uploading 35 megs somewhere while using a 56k modem can take a little while.

i'm pretty sure that even if the editor doesnt come out before the expansion pack that it will be included in the exp pack; so, if everything continues on target at ca and ea, the wait regardless shld be less than a month now.
