Fighting isn't about winning, it's about depriving your enemy of all options except to lose.

That is a known issue that happens SOME times. Just turn auto-tidy off. It also lets you merge, saving the best generals, and lets you merge lesser armor/weapon upgraded men into companies with more thereby automatically upgrading them also.
Technically you dont upgrade them because unit stats are based on the individual not the group as a whole. Look at the battle logs valour and armor and attck upgrades are all calculated fro each individaul person
Ok.... all the guys in the newly formed unit 'appear' to have the upgrades of the unit you drop the men into , so what happens with fatigue eg in the desert. Lets say you drop 59 FMAA with full armour upgrade onto a unit of 1 FMAA with no upgrade, as I understand it the unit picture will show no upgrade. So you take this unit off to the desert...... does it tire as if it is a heavily armoured unit or not? If not then this would be a fantastic unit as it gets the individual bonuses from the armour, but not the fatigue penalty. I would guess for the fatigue calculation an 'average' of the units armour is taken if some have different values. Does anyone know??Originally Posted by manboobs
Im not 100% but i presume fatigue like everything else is calculated per individual so i think the unti will still get tired pretty quickly. However unless someone else knows better...
Merging units sometimes causes really strange results. Today I merged two V5 viking huskarls, resulting unit had 3 valour. How is that possible?
Actually according to CA, armor and weapon upgrades are NOT kept per man but are only kept per company. Valor, morale and attack/defend are kept per man. Check it out.
