Unfortunately, the UK isn't the only country following this trend. French investors (who chronically suffer from bad morale) are also reluctant to invest in new structures because they fear the demand won't be sufficient. Here, too, the French are crippled by debts due to rocketing household prices and low interest rates favorable to the purchases of houses. We've just noticed the prices are levelling off but we're facing a severe economic slowdown and people are unlikely to spend their meagre savings. Paradoxically, interest rates are historically low, but so are investments...
