ok a suggestion. Now that you finished school ans iliad is not mandatory go buy a nice translation of the book although the sound of original is magical imo. Artistic liberties were the ones of Peter Jackson on LOTR. Troy was a massacre of historic-mythology. I wonder did they read the actual book?
By the way try reading the Age of Bronze comic. THIS is adaptation and artistic liberty.
