When my attempts hang at "Logging On ...," I have to wait for about a minute (I assume the software attempts to log in continuously for a preprogrammed amount of time before "timing out") before it displays a "Failed to Connect" message. For a long time I didn't know there was a "Failed to Connect" message because I never waited long enough to see it. While troubleshooting for someone else who mentioned seeing it a while back, I discovered that the "Failed to Connect" message eventually occurs if you don't interrupt the log in attempt before the time out point is reached. For some of us, anway ... .
