    Default ok a little help here if possible..

    ok i have made a new skin here is the texture thing..

    elite_frank_infantry

    ok now i added something else to this in the descr_model_battle

    type warband_axe_scythia
    skeleton fs_swordsman ; axe has same anims as club, and shares some with sword
    indiv_range 40
    texture scythia, data/models_unit/textures/unit_barb_warband_scythia_.tga
    texture gauls, data/models_unit/textures/elite_frank_infantry.tga

    the new unit works completely fine.. but then i tried the owner ship thing and changed it scythia,gauls

    then that worked fine both units looked completely different

    but here comes the part i tried changing the name but both textures have the same name,info how can i do this to so both textures have different names and info..i want the elite_frank_infantry to be -elite frank axemen as the units name can anyone help..?i wanna change the name and hes abilities like strenght and such..like his hit power and etc etc

    To make them have different stats, you'll have to make a new entry in export_descr_unit. Just copy the section of 'warband axe scythian' and change the name (after 'type') to something new. You don't have to change the model (the soldier line) though if it's already working fine for you. Edit the stats to whatever you want.

    To make a new description you'll have to add entries in data\text\export_units.txt. Copy the format already there and replace the unit name with the dictionary line from export_descr_unit.txt.

    I think that's it, anyone else?

    can you give me example of how to do with my texture because i tried that and my game crashed..?

    Can you post what you have for the unit entry and the model entry? Also, make sure you run RTW with the show_err option to give you error messages when you crash. Post that too.

    make sure that newly created unit in export_descr_unit does not go over the limits allowed in RTW.
