My BKB Mod always freezes.

My BKB Mod always freezes. I reinstalled the Medieval Total War 1.0 plus the Viking Invasion to upgrade to version 2.0. Then I installed the BKB mod into the Total War folder. Then I renamed the period I wanted to play DEADPAGE, and proceeded to the game.

Several problems:

1. I see the same map, only with slightly different provinces. I don't see Iceland, as advertised by BKB.

2. After about three turns, the game gets stuck on the thinking phase. It seems that the program is running a continuous loop and cannot get out of the loop. I press ESC OR Ctrl+Alt+Delete, to no avail.

How can I fix this problem?

i posted a responce in the BKB thread.. did you patch VI after you installed it?

if not find it at www.totalwar.com.. i beleive its version 2.1 that you needto be at.

Do you mean Version 2.01. I have version 2.01.

2.01..my mistake.


you did not mention patching it before installing the mod so thought that might solve it.
