    Angry Marian reforms

Ok, so um when installing the v1.2 patch, when do the Marian reforms occur ? I am playing long campaign with Scipii and it's already 219 BC. Before installing the patch, the reforms like always occured around 230 BC, when I built an Imperial Palace. But now I already have 4 Huge cities, so what's this about ?

minimum date is 220 BC , you need to have an imperial palace and it must be on the italian peninsula.
it is a random event , sometimes it ocurs 220 or it could happen in 180 ... so It is random , but you do need the things I listed above.

I never had the Marian reforms. I think you need to build an Imperial Palace in your capital city in order for the Marian reforms to occur.
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

Do Patavium and/or Mediolanium count as being on the Italian peninsula?

Thank you. Do you know how long it takes - on average - for the reforms to trigger after building the imperial palace in one of those cities?

And is there any way (i.e. cheats) to trigger the event manually? I don't like cheating but I'm in the civil war, and the game could soon be over. It's 203bc and I'd like to see what the units are like before the game ends.
