Thread: Mouse sensitivity??

    Default Mouse sensitivity??

    Hi all,
    I just re-installed RTW after a 7 month break.
Does anyone know if any solution ever came about for the mouse sensitivity issue?

My cursor moves too slowly on the campaign map. It is NOT the lag issue (if that even still exists). It just feels "slow" - I have to do a bit of arm movement, and need a lot of desktop space, to get it to go to the other side of the screen. It is fine on the main menu screen and in all other games. Changing mouse settings in Windows control panel does nothing. Changing video settings does nothing.

I had put the game on hold waiting for a patch for this. Two patches have gone by and it doesn't seem any better....

Always been aware of the problem, but never assumed it would get fixed.

So is this at least a recognized problem now?
Last time I was looking into this, only a small percentage of players were having this problem and it was a full-time battle for us to try to make people understand that it wasn't the lag issue.

Does anyone know what causes it, such as a certain video card or mouse?

And is there a stated reason why there isn't an in-game mouse sensitivity slider?

    Thanks.

    Hi everyone

This is one of my main gripes with RTW. It is a shame that it only happens on the strategy map and my right wrist is feeling the strain. I have a Nvidia card and have been given numerous advice on various forums mostly revolving around changing my driver. After all this time and many failed attempts the problem persists. It is a shame that CA have not recognised it as an issue and provided a fix. I hope that RTW: BI rectifies the problem.
