    Not sure if this link has been posted here earlier...

    This guy went to Japan to teach english, and he's got some rather weird experiences there. Whether he's BSing or not, his editorials are damn entertaining to read. Have a good laugh, I sure did

    RTW, 167 BC: Rome expels Greek philosophers after the Lex Fannia law is passed. This bans the effete and nasty Greek practice of 'philosophy' in favour of more manly, properly Roman pursuits that don't involve quite so much thinking.

    On the days I'm avoiding them asking me that, I'm avoiding them actually trying to grab it. I s*** you not, I have to play Dodged*** with Japanese Jr. High kids on a weekly basis. Boys and girls! Age, gender, doesn't matter, they all want a stab at it. The boys are actually more persistant though. I had one boy grab for it, and when I said "No!" he put his hands together and, in English, said "Please!"

    I read the whole thing? Did you? It was pretty funny, but there were so many kancho incidents describeb that they began to get old. Other than that, very good.

    I'm already having a tough time teaching english to people here, whose native language is english!

    As one of the Janitors once told me "Weze knows you gunna put a bullet up deeze guys asses".

    I asked him what that meant

    and he told me it meant something like "I'm going to fire everybody because I think they are all incompetant."
