    Default Heart of Empire: rome

Anyone know anymore about this game. I've seen a couple of screens in magazines, but can't find much on the web. Sounds a bit like a glorified Caesar III, which is a good thing...

I played Ceasar 3 a lot , just like Sierra;s other build-city games ( the egyptian one I mean ) Haven't played these games in a while though. So if its interesting I might give it a go when it's out that is , looks great , from what I've read.

A Caesar lll type game oh yeah i'm interested.

If only it had the TW style battles. It would be the ultimate game.

Start a settlement build and defend it, watch it grow into a powerfull
city state. Then conquer the world.

The later sierra titles did'nt cut it with me as they broke the one thing i liked so much in caesar lll , A large map so i could build my city any way i pleased.

Seems C.A. have done the same with RTW. small restrictive battle map.
no chance to manouver, lay an ambush etc.
Set up click start NME is right in front 30 secs later it's all over.

I wonder why so many developers ruin the features that made their games great.
