Guidance needed please!

Getting so fed up with the stupidity of the RTW AI that I´m reversing back to MTW (VI) and STW (WE). Here are my Q´s:
1. Is there any good mods for STW still available?
2. Is the STW 1.2 WE, patch the latest?
3. Are there any good Shogun mods for MTW? If I remember correctly there was one with ships available that was pretty good, are there any more?
4. Just for comparising, are there any good Shogun mods made for the RTW engine?

@Barocca,
I remeber you helped me earlier and you seem to be on top of things. Any suggestions/ recommendations?

1. Yes, IronMan is by barocca and quite difficult.
There're no conversion mods.
2. 1.2 is the latest patch.
3. There's only one Shogun Mod for MTW:VI. It's very good and
will see another version in the near future where the campaign map
will look almost exactly like Shogun. See my sig for the link to
the Samurai forum. We also have ships.
Furthermore it contains MP stats developed by veterans of MP.
4. Yes, the Sengoku Jidai mod. Not playable yet and focusing on
MP as it seems. See under "Hosted Mods"

Thx a mill! DL:ed and installed! I also DL TosaInu´s music converter for MTW. The Shogun mod was the one I played before and I liked it a lot... for a MTW game. STW IMO has the best battleengine of them all, although I hate the graphs.

BTW, another Q:
1. Where can I find stats, guides, etc for modding STW?
2. How many factions can STW carry?
3. Units?
4. Provinces?
Did a search but didn´t find it right away - I guess I´m lazy, he he!

Thx. I totally agree with you m8. I only wish that we could live to se a day when the STW battlefield AI and RTW graphics combined. That´s the day I´ll go into early retirement and play 24 7 into a blaze of glory.

SJ:TW is about that, but also is more realistic. I plan to try out SJ sometime, but I definitely will stay playing WE. Myself I'm not too bothered by the grafics actually(RTW grafics would be nice, but it doesn't keep me from playing), I think the AI's stupidity in some ocasions is worse. You know, when it crosses a river when defending, just stands when being shot and splits his army up around the entire map. Luckily it isn't always that stupid, and there is MP.

I did those two downloads too.

Easy to install, not much drive space, new fun campaigns, takes not much time . . . Great job, barocca! I took a short peek into the campaigns and they are fun. I look forwards to really playing and finishing one!

Any more campaign downloads like this? I'd love to see more!
