I've said it before in other threads, but don't make Hannibals mistake. Its the cities that count.
You can win all the battles you want in the field but if you don't take the cities you're gonna lose in the end. Add Onagers to a few armies and land them next to cities. You can avoid a siege that way and immediatly attack the city before Egypt can react. As you take cities you can also whittle down their armies if you want. But if you don't take the cities, they'll simply rebuild whatever you destroy in the field on their next turn.
