    Default BI Parthia & Scythia

I have a few questions about BI, wich i can hardly wait to be released:

1.I live in Central Europe so...when BI will be released in Europe ? (UK) august or october ? Does somebody here pre-order already BI ??

2.I`ved checked out...and i found out that Parthia and Scythia still existed in BI`s period..therefore, I assume that will still be in the BI too ?

3.BI`s mercs....will new units type be available ?

    4.Naval battles ? yes? or.....no again

I know they are tough questions...and very few of u know the answers..but i given a shot

    1) no idea

    2) By the period of BI, Parthia was ruled tby the sassanid Persians. More of a change of dynasty than anything else. the Scythians were probably superceded by the Sarmatians and other more Eastern tribes.

    3) presumably

    4) unlikely from what i've seen

1.Check a european based online distributor and see when they are scheduled to get it.

2.The Parthians were over thrown by the King of Persus in 227 AD (and fade into the mist of history all together), he founded the Sassanid dynasty of Persia. BI campagin starts in 367 AD (?) do the math. The Scythians are replaced by the Sarmations in the BI campagin.

"Let us remember that there are multiple theories of Intelligent Design. I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. --- Proof of the existence of the FSM, if needed, can be found in the recent uptick of global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Apparently His Pastaness is to be worshipped in full pirate regalia. The decline in worldwide pirate population over the past 200 years directly corresponds with the increase in global temperature. Here is a graph to illustrate the point."

...And in doing so commit piracy. Theft is theft, guys. Don't do it.

However, just to lighten the mood, I can answer the original questions:

The release date is purely speculative at the moment. Plans are afoot, but I can't say more than that.

Parthia and Scythia are not factions in the BI period. Instead, you'll see the Sarmatians and the Sassanids in that part of the game world. Both can be quite challenging to play.

There are new mercenaries in the game, including a couple that you might not expect. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the choice on offer!

Naval battles are not the focus of the expansion.

For more information, you might want to have a look a the FAQ the Shogun has been posting here: http://p223.ezboard.com/fshoguntotal...ID=19529.topic

Gentlemen should exercise caution and wear stout-sided boots when using the Fintry-Kyle Escape Apparatus. Ladies, children, servants and those of a nervous disposition should be strongly encouraged to seek other means of hurried egress.
